W.A. Robinson Asset Management Ltd. is pleased to announce that Gord Ross, CFP has joined our team in the role of Senior Vice President & Chief Sales Officer. As a member of our Senior Management Team, Gord will focus on leading and growing our investment funds business.
Gord brings with him decades of experience in the financial sector, including deep expertise in investment wholesaling and leadership of national sales teams. Prior to joining W.A. Robinson, he held senior roles in several Canadian asset management firms, including Guardian Capital and Fiera Investments.
Gord is a natural leader and excels at building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients. His focus on empowering direct reports through training and mentorship have helped his teams consistently boost their performance and surpass sales targets. As a strategic thinker, Gord has also implemented operational and technical initiatives to increase efficiency in his previous organizations.
Although London is home for Gord, he will be working closely with the rest of the W.A. Robinson team – both remotely and in person, when conditions permit. When he’s not meeting with clients or collaborating with his team, Gord enjoys playing recreational hockey, golfing, and fishing.
