Matthew is the CEO and Portfolio Manager (AR) of W.A. Robinson Asset Management Ltd. and holds the Advising Representative designation with the Ontario Securities Commission.
Matthew is a Chartered Investment Manager and an expert on real estate in Ontario with over 20 years experience in the management of a mortgage investment corporation and in mortgage lending and administration, having obtained both his Real Estate Broker licence and his Mortgage Broker designation over two decades ago.
As CEO and Portfolio Manager, Matthew provides vision and leadership to his team to care for the operations of Frontenac Mortgage Investment Corporation while being responsible for the strategic direction of W.A Robinson Asset Management Ltd. and Pillar Financial.
Kevin Cruickshank, CPA, CA is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Kevin graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) with Distinction in 1990 and was admitted to the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1993.
After having worked for five years as a Chartered Accountant with Wilkinson & Company LLP in Belleville, Ontario, Kevin spent the next five years as the Vice-President of Finance for the Cooney Transport Group of Companies where he oversaw the financial affairs of a group of 19 companies involved in international trucking operations with a real estate network of seven terminals located in Ontario and Quebec.
In 2000, Kevin was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Hanley Group of Companies, also in Belleville, Ontario, where he oversaw the financial affairs of several companies involved in quick food service operations and managed an investment company.
Having always wanted to own his own business, he became a partner in The Loon’s Call Campground & Cottage Resort, a seasonal resort operation located in Cloyne, Ontario.
After leaving the Hanley Group of Companies in 2004, Kevin continued his accounting practice, assisting clients with business planning and financial matters in addition to providing traditional accounting and taxation services until June 2012 when he joined W.A. Robinson Asset Management as its full-time CFO. He also holds the CCO (Chief Compliance Officer) title.

Since joining the company in 2002, she has experience in corporate accounting, personal finance, income tax preparation and investment management, earning her CIM designation and receiving the AR designation. She is responsible for the discretionary portfolio clients, working with them to obtain their goals and achieving the lifestyle they desire.
Debra has been an active member of her community as a Scout Leader for 15 years, baseball coach for 10 years and the Treasurer and Entertainment Chair for the Parham Agricultural Society for many years.
Joining W.A. Robinson team in early 2017, Richard brings a great deal of intelligence, education and charisma to our growing portfolio and fund management business.
Richard is a graduate of Queen’s University and an Old Boy of St. Andrew’s College. He has 10 years of financial services experience, having worked previously in banking, insurance, and wealth management firms.
After graduating from Queens University with a B.A. (hons.) in Economics, Richard obtained his Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation in 2015 and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2016 and became member of the CFA Ottawa Society. In 2018, Richard has achieved successful registration with the Ontario Securities Commission as an advising representative (AR).
Dawn is responsible for maintaining the official records of Frontenac Mortgage Investment Corporation, ensuring governance compliance, enabling the efficient functioning of the Board of Directors and acting as the liaison between the Boards of Directors, the Administrator and the Manager.
She manages the Board of Directors meetings and committee meetings, organizes the Annual General Meeting and coordinates the CEO’s schedule and travel plans. She holds an Honours Diploma in the Executive Secretarial Program from Westervelt Business College in London, Ontario.
Dawn has her Personal Financial Planner (PFP) designation and spent 20 years with RBC as a Personal Financial Planner and Senior Account Manager. This background enables her to balance the mixture of day-to-day requirements the role regularly entails.
Founder of W.A. Robinson Asset Management Ltd., Wayne has over 30 years of experience in financial planning, construction, real estate, business acquisition, business development, mortgage lending, and more specifically in Mortgage Investment Corporations.
Wayne also founded the mortgage brokerage and administration firm known as Pillar Financial Services Inc., 27 years ago, which now lends and underwrites the mortgages these funds invest in. Designations include: Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Registered Financial Planner (R.F.P), Certified Investment Manager (CIM), Certified in Real Estate Finance (CRF), and holder of a BA(Sc) from Queens University.
By developing one of the first MICs offered by prospectus in the country, Wayne has had a considerable impact on arguably one of the most emergent fixed-income products available today. His leadership, rational thinking, prudent underwriting and overall knowledge in the industry enabled him to create a one of a kind investing opportunity in Canada that is unmatched by today’s standards and ever increasing regulation.
Wayne was the owner and CEO of a petroleum company for 6 years and spent 6 years as a Director of the Eastern Ontario Development Corporation, an Ontario Crown Corporation, providing loans to developing and expanding businesses.
He was a CFA exam marker for 10 years for the Institute of Advanced Financial Planners and Executive Director of North Frontenac Community Services where he took part in social, health and community planning.
